2017-2018 Lexus ES 350 Oil Maintenance Required Light Reset – The Lexus ES is a top-of-the-range sedan belonging to the family class in the competition of Mercedes C-Class, or BMW 3 Series. Launched in 1989, it is one of the first models in the Lexus line and is now between the IS and the most luxurious GS. It is sold only in the United States, Canada, and Japan under the name of Toyota Vista and then Toyota Windom until 2018.

In 2018, on the European pages of Lexus sites, the ES is presented as a new sedan. It is assembled on the same platform as the Toyota Camry. The seventh generation of the Lexus ES is presented on April 25, 2018, at the Beijing Motor Show. The Lexus ES VII is the first ES to be marketed in Europe. The Lexus ES is marketed in Europe only in hybrid version ES 300h.  The numbers after the name of the model indicate the cubic capacity, like at Infiniti, or Mercedes.

2017-2018 Lexus ES 350 Oil Maintenance Required Light Reset

Time needed: 7 minutes

When engine oil needs to replace, Oil Maintenance Required message will appear on the display. The maintenance data must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Maintenance Required Light on your Lexus ES 350:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to the ON position without starting the engine

    Press the POWER button twice without touching the brake pedal.

  2. Select [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] on the multi-information display using the navigation button

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  3. Scroll down to VEHICLE SETTINGS menu

    Press CENTER navigation button to select it

  4. Scroll down to OIL MAINTENANCE

    Press CENTER navigation button to select it

  5. When a confirmation dialog appears, select “YES”

    Press CENTER navigation button to confirm

After resetting the engine Oil Maintenance, you can also reset the SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE on the vehicle setting sub-menu if needed.
