2005-2009 Saab 9-7X Change Engine Oil Life Minder Light Reset – The Saab 9-7X was an SUV model from the Swedish car manufacturer Saab Automobile based on the GMT360 platform from General Motors, which was also used for the GMC Envoy and Chevrolet TrailBlazer. For this reason, the 9-7X is also called “TrollBlazer”, although it was not built in Trollhättan, Sweden, the traditional production site of Saabs, but in Moraine, Ohio, USA.
Due to poor sales and ‘the crisis’ GM closed the Moraine plant on December 23, 2008. The car has been sold on the Dutch market since 2006 and was Saab’s largest available passenger car.

When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Engine Oil Soon message will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Saab 9-7X:
Don’t start the engine!
The button is located on the center console
Press and hold the ⏎ button until the “Oil Life Reset” appears on the display
Done!
