|Last Updated on November 30, 2021 by Nick
Good morning my friends! I hope you get a wonderful day. In today’s post, we will see how to reset the spanner or the service light on your Citroen Berlingo.
Now, if you’re doing your servicing, you don’t want to have the spanner icon constantly reminding you that you need to have a service, and you don’t want to take it to the Citroen dealer to reset it. You can do it yourself, so let’s check this out!

Citroën Berlingo Spanner/Service Light Reset Guide
There are two ways to reset it for your info, and this guide will be valid for Citroën Berlingo B9/K9 (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 model years).

Time needed: 3 minutes
Okay, so we’re sitting in the driver’s seat now and what you’ve got on the dashboard is this spanner icon which means that you need a service. Well, I’ve just serviced the vehicle, and I want to reset it. So let’s do it.
- Press and hold the TRIP button
Okay here we have two buttons on the dash and we have to hold down the right one while the ignition off
- Turn on the ignition but don’t start the engine
Now while that button is still held in, turn the ignition on
- Continue to hold down the button
Then you need to keep that button held for a while and that will begin a 10 countdown on your dashboard. Remember to keep that button pressed all the time, then when it reaches the end you will get this symbol [=0] and that means the service indicator has been reset, and this spanner icon will disappear
- Release the button
After that, you can let go of that button and start the car to confirm that everything is done

- So what we’re going to be doing is we’re going to be using one of these buttons here on the dashboard, and you hold that button in but make sure the ignition isn’t on at this point
- As you hold it, then we are going to do is to insert the key and turn on the car
- Keep the button pressed and you’ll see the countdown and we have to wait until it gets to zero then we will see that the kilometers are reset
- Now you can release the button and you’re ready to go
So that’s easy. You don’t need to do anything else. You don’t need an ODB interface or something like that, and you just need to do this that I just explained. I hope this content has been useful for you. Thank you for reading, and see you in the next one.
