2007-2014 Smart ForTwo Oil Light Service Minder Reset – The Smart Fortwo is a city car produced by Smart. This is the first model produced by Smart, which has been in three generations since 1998. Presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1997, the Smart Citycoupé, which became “Smart Fortwo”, immediately marginalized conventional productions. It is 2.50 m long, 1.51 m high and 1.50 m wide. It is the smallest car on the market (about 1 m less than a Twingo I). It adopts a compact original architecture with a three-cylinder engine close to the rear axle ensuring good city maneuverability. Its fuel tank contains only 22 liters. Five diodes are extinguished one by one are included in the gauge.
While its size is undoubtedly one of its best selling points, the Fortwo is a two-seater with a reduced capacity for luggage. Despite a difficult start (momentum test), its production has exceeded the 100,000 units per year for several years. It now seems to have found its customers including among the security forces, although very few parking places offer advantageous especially for cars of this size.

When engine oil service is due, Service Minder Light will appear on the display. The oil service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Light on your Smart ForTwo:
Don’t start the engine!
Make sure you are in the SERVICE interval menu
Turn off ignition immediately when you are on the service menu
Don’t start the engine!
