2000-2005 Buick Park Avenue Oil Change Minder Oil Life Light Reset – Buick Park Avenue is a luxury E-segment car produced by General Motors from 1991 to 2005 in the United States and from 2007 onwards in China. Park Avenue’s name derives from the eponymous New York Avenue. In 1997 Park Avenue has undergone a facelift, which has produced a second generation. This second series is based on the platform of the G General Motors as the Buick Riviera. The model had installed the upgraded version of the 3.8-liter V6 displacement already mounted in the previous series.
As in the previous generation, it was available supercharged Ultra. The basic version had a simple emblem on the hood, while the Ultra had a less striking layer of weapons with three shields inserted in the upper edge of the grill. The engine was ridden before, and the traction was all in the front. The velvet interiors were no longer offered, and then the model was only available with the leather interior. Only one type of transmission was available, the 4T60-E automatic four-speed. It was, however, also offer a high-performance transmission. In the United States, the model stopped being manufactured in 2005 being replaced by Buick Lucerne that also replaced Buick LeSabre.

When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Engine Oil Soon message will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Buick Park Avenue:
Don’t start the engine!
The button is located on the left side of the instrument cluster
Press and hold the RESET button until the Oil Life display changes to 100 percent
Done!
