2005 VW Volkswagen Lupo Service INSP Minder Oil Light Reset – The Volkswagen Lupo is a city car of the German manufacturer Volkswagen marketed from October 1998 to 2005. It is a clone of the Seat Arosa, appeared a year earlier. Time needed: 7 minutes

If you exceed the specified service interval, the Service INSP Light will blink and you should reset the service interval. Perform the following step to reset Service INSP light on your Volkswagen Lupo:

  1. Turn OFF the ignition

    Make sure your vehicle stops in a safe place

  2. Press and hold the TRIP button, and turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position

    Do not start the engine!

  3. Keep holding the TRIP button until service message change to 3 dots

  4. Release the button and turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

    Done!
