2013-2019 Cadillac ATS Oil Life/Oil Change Light Reset Guide
It’s worth noting that the method you use will be determined by the year and type of your car (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).
With Gas Pedal
- So first what you want to do is hold your Start button until all the lights come on on the dash
- Then you’re gonna press your GAS or the ACCELERATOR pedal whatever you want to call it three times within five seconds
- Now you can start up the car again and you’re good to go so you can see the change engine oil soon warning is gone
With Steering Button
Time needed: 3 minutes
So when you see you in your owner’s manual, it’ll give you how to reset the oil life. It is usually done by driver information center controls on the right side of the steering wheel. So let’s get right into it.
- Turn on the ignition
The first thing we want to do is press and hold the START button for a few seconds without pressing the brake pedal. Once all the gauges are warnings up on the instrument cluster you can let go the button
- Go to the left column screen
Next, you want to select a control on the steering wheel and use the left arrow to toggle over to the left column display
- Scroll down to the REMAINING OIL LIFE
Then scroll up or down until the oil life percentage is displayed
- Press and hold the SEL button
Now you’ll want to push in and hold the SEL button till the percentage resets back to 100 percent
So that’s all that I wrote for this post. I hope you found this short post helpful and that you were able to reset your oil life. Thank you so much for coming to my site and having a great day.
