TPMS Reset: Volvo V90 Low Tire Pressure System Light (2017-2021) – The Volvo 90 series succeeded the Volvo S80 and Volvo V70 in 2016. The car is available as a sedan (S90) and station wagon (V90). The latter is also available as a roughened version (V90 Cross Country).

The Volvo delivery program already had an S90 and V90; these were facelifted versions of the Volvo 960. The V90 is the largest estate car in the Volvo range, yet only petrol and diesel engines with four cylinders are available.

TPMS Reset: Volvo V90 Low Tire Pressure System Light (2017-2021)

Time needed: 7 minutes

Whenever tire pressure is adjusted or change the tire you need to reset or calibrate the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS on 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 Volvo V90:

  1. Stop the vehicle

    Turn off the engine

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Start the engine

    With depressing the brake pedal and put the key into the ignition slot, press the START/STOP ENGINE button

  4. Select the CAR STATUS app

    The button is located on the center display

  5. Select TPMS

    Tap the touchscreen to select the menu

  6. Select STORE PRESSURE or CALIBRATE

    A confirmation message will appears in the display

  7. Select OK to execute the TPMS reset

    Tap the touchscreen to select

  8. Start the engine and drive the vehicle at a speed above 20 mph until the new inflation pressure has been saved

    Done!

The TPMS calibration process will complete after 10 minutes of driving at speeds over 35 km/h (22 mph). It will finish automatically.
