TPMS Reset: Opel Antara Low Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (2015-2018) – The Opel Antara is a sports utility vehicle (SUV) of the German car brand Opel. General Motors introduced the Antara in September 2006 along with the Chevrolet Captiva.

Under the name Antara GTC, a concept car was presented at the Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) in 2005. The concept was 4.53 meters long, 1.97 meters wide and 1.64 meters high. It was powered by a 1.9 CDTI diesel engine with 212 hp.

TPMS Reset: Opel Antara Low Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (2015-2018)

Time needed: 7 minutes

If you replacing a spare tire with a road tire containing the TPMS sensor on your 2015 2016 2017 2018 Opel or Vauxhall Antara, the system will detect a malfunction and the low tire pressure warning light will blink. When that happens, the TPMS sensor reset process must be done. Here is how to reset the TPMS.

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the Engine Start/Stop button without touching the brake pedal

  2. Press the Remote Key transmitter’s LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for five seconds

    The horn will sound twice and the TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message will appear indicating the TPMS matching process has started

  3. Start from the driver side front tire, use the TPMS Relearn tool to reset the tpms sensor

    Place the relearn tool against the tire sidewall, near the valve stem. Then press the button to activate the TPMS sensor

  4. Repeat the process for the passenger side front tire, passenger side rear tire, and the driver side rear tire

    A horn chirp will confirm that the sensor has been reset

  5. Turn off the ignition after you reset the last tire

    The TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message will disappear

  6. Adjust the tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

    Done!
