TPMS Reset: Nissan Qashqai Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (2014-2021) – The Nissan Qashqai is a crossover produced by the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan since 2007. It replaced the Terrano II and at the same time caught the disappearance of the Almera.

Nissan introduced the second generation of Qashqai on November 7, 2013. A global video display accompanied the launch. Nissan offers the Qashqai a new 1.2 turbo petrol engine, which was developed together with Renault.

TPMS Reset: Nissan Qashqai Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (2014-2021)

Each time a tire pressure has been adjusted or change the tire, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS). Depending on the vehicle model you have, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS on Nissan Qashqai:

2014-2016 Models

Time needed: 7 minutes

You can access the tyre pressure reset menu via the cluster menu on the 2014 2015 2016 model years. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

    The Tire pressure reset process cannot be done while the vehicle is moving

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Turn the ignition key to ON position without starting the engine

    If your car has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.

  4. Go to the “SETTING” menu by using the ▲▼ button

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  5. Scroll to the MAINTENANCE menu by using the joystick

    Press the ENTER button to select it

  6. Select TYRE PRESSURE

    Several menu options will appear

  7. Select CALIBRATE

    The Cancel and Start options will appear

  8. Select START to execute the TPMS reset

    Done!

2017-2021 Models

Just like the previous model, you can reset TPMS through the cluster menu. Here’s how to do it:

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Turn the ignition key to ON position without starting the engine
  • Display the ⚙️ SETTINGS on the multi-information display using the ◄ ► navigation button
  • Scroll down and find the MAINTENANCE
  • Select TIRE PRESSURE
  • Select CALIBRATE
  • Select START to execute the TPMS reset
