TPMS Reset: Ford Ranger Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (2016-2021) – The Ford Ranger is a name that has been used on various types of pickups by the Ford Motor Company over the years. Originally the name was used for a version of the F-series, and between 1965 to 1981, it stood exclusively for a styling package.
From the 1983 model year, the Ranger name was used for a new compact pickup intended exclusively for the North American market. In 1998 an international variant was added to this. Ford decided in 2011 to end both model lines and replace them with the new Ranger T6.

Whenever tire pressure is adjusted, change a tire, or get it rotated you must carry out the TPMS reset procedure. Here is how to reset the TPMS on 2016 2017 201 2019 2020 2021 Ford Ranger:
- Park your vehicle
Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine
- Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard
The tire placard located on the door panel
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START/STOP button once without touching the brake pedal
- Press ◄ navigation button to enter the cluster menu
The button is located on the steering wheel
- Go to DRIVER ASSIST
Use the navigation button to scroll and press OK to select
- Scroll down and select TYRE MONITOR
Use the navigation button to scroll
- Press and hold the OK button until a confirmation message appear on the screen
