TPMS Reset: BMW 4 Series Tire Pressure Monitor Light (F32 G22) – The BMW 4 Series (F32) is a mid-range car from the German car manufacturer BMW. The 4 Series was presented in 2013 based on the sixth generation BMW 3 Series.

The BMW 4 Series was introduced in 2013 as a new model to replace the coupe and convertible versions of the 3 Series. Under the skin, it is still largely a 3 series and is on the same platform. However, the car is longer, lower, and wider than its predecessor.

2014-2020 (F32 F33 F36)

With iDrive 1

Time needed: 7 minutes

Follow these steps if your vehicle’s iDrive looks like this:

  1. Stop the vehicle

    Turn off the engine and shift to neutral position or P position

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  5. Select VEHICLE STATUS

    Some menus will appear on the screen

  6. Select Tire RESET

    A confirmation message will appear

  7. Starting the engine

    Put the key into the ignition slot, depress the brake pedal, and then press the START/STOP ENGINE button

  8. Select PERFORM RESET to execute the tire pressure reset

    You can choose cancel to cancel it

  9. Drive the car

    The system reset is completed while the car is on the move

With iDrive 2

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
  • Press the MENU button to enter the main menu
  • Go to the MY VEHICLE by using the Drive controller

  • Select VEHICLE STATUS
  • Select TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR
  • Start the engine but don’t drive your car
  • Select PERFORM RESET to start the initialization
  • Drive the car

2020-2021 (G22 G23 G26)

Just like the previous generation, you can access the tire pressure menu to reset the TPM via iDrive on the 420d 430d 420i 430i M440i model. Here’s how to do it:

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
  • Press the HOME button to enter the main menu
  • Go to the CAR by using the iDrive controller

  • Start the engine but don’t drive your car
  • Select PERFORM RESET to start the initialization
  • Drive the car

The TPM calibration process will complete during driving. It will finish automatically.
