Each time adjusting tyre pressure or changing one or more wheels, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS on SEAT Ibiza:
2009-2016 Models
Time needed: 7 minutes
In this 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 SEAT Ibiza, you can reset TPMS using the SET button. Here’s how to do it:
- Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine
Make sure your vehicle is in a safe place
- Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard on the fuel tank flap
The cold tire is a tire that is not driven more than 3 hours
- Switch on the ignition without starting the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal
- Look for the TPMS SET button and then press it until you hear a chimes
The button is located on the centre console
2017-2021 Models
There are two ways to reset the TPMS on this fifth generation (2017 2018 2019 2020 2021) by using the Set button or via Multimedia. Depending on your vehicle trim level, here is how to do it:

Follow the instructions below if your vehicle is equipped with a multimedia display.
- Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
- Switch on the ignition without starting the engine
- Press the CAR button on the multimedia
- Select the vehicle SETTINGS menu by tap the touchscreen
- Select TYRES
- Select SET
- When a confirmation message appears, select CONFIRM to execute the TPMS reset
