SEAT Altea: How To Reset Low Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (2005-2014) – The SEAT Altea is based on the eponymous prototype unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2003. The model was launched in February 2004.

Like all other SEAT models (except Alhambra and Terra), this car is named a Spanish city: Altea. It is a hatchback for five people. This car is available with a 1.2,1.4,1.6,1.8TFSI or a 2.0 petrol engine, and as diesel engines, there is a 1.9 TDI and a 2.0 TDI.

Time needed: 7 minutes

Each time adjusting tyre pressure or changing one or more wheels, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). In this 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 SEAT Altea, you can reset TPMS using the SET button. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

    Make sure your vehicle is in a safe place

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard on the fuel tank flap

    The cold tire is a tire that is not driven more than 3 hours

  3. Switch on the ignition without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal

  4. Look for the TPMS SET button and then press it until you hear a chimes

    The button is located on the centre console
