Restoring Korg Wavedrum Oriental to Factory Default Condition

Last Updated on June 20, 2022 by Nick

Just like the regular Wavedrum, the Limited Edition Wavedrum Oriental straddles the line between acoustic and electronic percussion by utilizing an innovative synthesis technology to generate super-realistic drum and percussion sounds from an acoustic stimulus. It’s adds a full range of algorithms and PCM samples dedicated to Arabic percussion. The number of preset programs has been increased from the previous 100 to a whopping 150 preset programs. Together with the 150 user programs, you can now choose from a total of 300 variations. Other than the additional sounds, the Wavedrum Oriental is exactly the same as the original ‘second generation’ Wavedrum.

According to several users reviews of Korg Wavedrum, some users have praised it for the broader range of sounds. Also, users have complained it for the name is misleading.
