Resetting Roland FP-80 Digital Piano

Roland reinvented their FP digital piano series with the FP-80, a model that’s equally well suited for home, church, and live stage use. This new model replaces the popular Roland FP7F, and the FP80 has some definite improvements over the previous model. The FP-80 is aimed at the higher end of the digital piano market and features an Ivory-feel S keyboard, a four-speaker sound system and a mic input with an automatic harmony effect. Like the FP-50, the bigger model offers wireless and USB connections, plus iOS support.

The Roland FP-80 has a maximum polyphony of 128, which is better than the average for all Portable Keyboard Digital Pianos and Keyboards. The piano can generate 372 sounds, which is the average for all Portable Keyboard Digital Pianos and Keyboards. In addition to the 372 sounds the Roland FP-80 can produce 90 rhythms, which is 10 less than the average for all Digital Pianos and Keyboards. Finally, the Roland FP-80 has 30 songs preloaded onto the piano, which is moderately less than the average for all Digital Pianos and Keyboards. Whether you are a beginner of professional, this piano can pretty much do it all including having very nice acoustic piano sound, realistic piano style key action, and lots of cool digital features.

Factory Reset:

To restoring the factory settings your Roland FP-80, first press the SONG and RHYTHM buttons simultaneously. Select “Factory Reset.” by using SLOW/FAST buttons and press the METRONOME button. The “Factory Reset” screen will appears on the display, press the FAST button to select “Yes.” and to start the Factory Reset operation. Finally, when the Factory Reset operation is complete, turn the power off and then on again.
