For your info, this operation work for the first generation of the Dacia Duster (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 model years).
With Wiper Lever
Time needed: 3 minutes
This is a 2016 Dacia Duster and what we’ve got here is the service light comes on when the vehicles when you go to start it. We want to clear that. So what we need to do is:
- Turn on the ignition
Let’s have a seat at the drive side and then switch on the ignition
- Go to the SERVICE INTERVAL display
Push the Trip button on the end of the right lever on the right side so long as you reach your SERVICE INTERVAL screen. It’s a screen with a spanner symbol display
- Hold down the button
Once you are on that screen you need to hold down the button until the Service Interval start flashing
- Keep holding the button
Keep holding the button until the new service interval appears on the display and you’re done
With Brake & Gas Pedals
For older models and do not have a control button on the wiper lever, you can use this method to reset it.
- Turn the key on
- Then you need to step on and hold the GAS pedal to the floor
- After that, you’re going to smash the BRAKE pedal right down three times within ten seconds
So that’s how you do it. The job’s done easy, isn’t it? Yeah, we don’t have to go to the garage, we can do it, and we can handle it. Anyway, hopefully, we’ve helped you out to reset it. So that thanks for reading and see you.
