Resetting Alesis Q25 25-key USB MIDI Controller

Last Updated on June 18, 2022 by Nick

The Alesis Q25 is, as you might suspect, a 25-note keyboard controller that requires only a single USB connection for data and power, or can be used with an optional external power supply. Many MIDI controllers these days come with plenty of knobs and sliders. But the Alesis Q25 harkens back to a different era, one of simplicity of design—except updated for today’s laptop and iPad-driven music studios. It promises accurate MIDI control, portability, and not much else. As long as your needs are modest, it’s a solid controller at a bargain price.

According to several user reviews, they have praised Alesis Q25 for the 25-key key bed feels fine, with well balanced velocity sensitivity; Just enough controls for most situations. Also, some users have complained it for not many controls; Changing settings requires multiple key presses; Plastic construction feels flimsy.
