The Yamaha Arius YDP181 Digital Piano is part of Yamaha’s Arius/YDP series, which is specially designed for use by both beginners and experienced players. This is an upgrade from the Yamaha Arius YDP 161, this wood cabinet digital piano the YDP-181 has a few more features than the 161 and that is known as the Arius YDP 181. Featuring 128-note polyphony (allowing you to play multiple notes at once with no loss in sound quality) and 20W+20W amplification played through two 16cm speakers, it’s certainly the most powerful in the Arius (YDP) range.

According to several user reviews, they have praised Yamaha Arius YDP-181 for it’s touch sensitivity or response feature. Some would even go so far as to say that controlling the sound is easier with this unit than with a traditional acoustic piano; Compared to an upright piano, this one is definitely lighter, making it easier for you to move it around in a room. Also, some users have complained it for the pedals are initially tough to operate, requiring quite a little force. Perhaps this is simply one of those things that one has to get used to and, in time, be able to ignore.
