How To Reset Tire Pressure Sensor TPMS Light on Lexus NX (2015-2021) – The Lexus NX is a sports utility vehicle produced by the Toyota premium brand Lexus since 2014. In many aspects of the NX, similar to the study LF-NX, presented at the International Motor Show 2013 in Frankfurt am Main.

If the TPMS warning light appears on your 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 Lexus NX, it is necessary to reset the TPMS. Depending on the vehicle model you have, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS.

NX200T / NX300H (2015-2017)

Time needed: 7 minutes

In this model, you can reset the tire pressure sensor through the TPMS menu. Follow these steps to do it:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

    Tire pressure reset process cannot be done while the vehicle is moving.

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without touching the brake pedal

  4. Press the MENU button to enter the main menu

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  5. Go to [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] menu by using the ◄ ► navigation button

    Press the ⚈ button to select

  6. Select TPMS

    Press the button to select

  7. Press and hold the ⚈ button until initialization is completed

    Done!

NX300 / NX300H (2018-2021)

Just like the previous model year, on this latest model, you have to enter the system menu to reset the TPMS. Follow these steps to do it:

  • Stop the vehicle and adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine
  • Go to [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] menu by using the ◄ ► navigation button
  • Select the VEHICLE SETTINGS menu and then press and hold the ⚈ button
  • Select TPMS
  • Press and hold the ⚈ button until the TPMS indicator blinks 3 times

These instructions are based on the Lexus NX owner’s manual. This procedure should apply to the first generation of the Lexus NX (2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 model years).
