How To Reset Tire Pressure Sensor TPMS Light on Lexus GX 460 (2020-2021) – The Lexus GX is a luxury version of the Toyota Land Cruiser. The first generation was offered as the GX 470. It had a V8, 4.7-liter engine with 209 kW (285 hp), and 438 Nm of torque.

In 2009, Lexus brought the GX 460 (URJ150) onto the market. This is also related to the Toyota Land Cruiser 150 but made its debut before its sister model. In 2013 the GX received a facelift and now sports the new Lexus grille. In 2019 the series was revised again.

How To Reset Tire Pressure Sensor TPMS Light on Lexus GX 460 (2020-2021)

Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) or also known as TPWS on Lexus cars is a system that provides a real tire pressure report to the driver. If the TPMS warning light appears on your 2020 2021 Lexus GX 460, it is necessary to reset the TPMS. Follow these steps to do it:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

    Tire pressure reset process cannot be done while the vehicle is moving.

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Start the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, Depress the brake pedal and then press the ENGINE START/STOP button

  4. Go to [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] menu by using the ◄ ► navigation button

  5. Scroll and select the VEHICLE SETTINGS menu

    Press and hold the OK button to enter the menu

  6. Select TPWS

    Press the OK button to select

  7. Select SET PRESSURE

    Press the OK button to select

  8. Press and hold the OK button until the TPMS indicator blinks 3 times

    “—” will appears on the screen for the inflation pressure of each tire while the reset process is being performed.

  9. Run and drive your car

    TPMS calibration process will complete after 30 minutes driving between 25 mph (40 km/h).
