2014-2023 Range Rover Evoque Oil Reset Guide
Here I’m going to go ahead and I’m going to show you how to reset your service-required light on a new Range Rover Evoque. So let me do that right now.
- First, you’ve got to have the hood open and the driver’s side door open
- Then you’re gonna get in the car and gonna push the ignition button to turn on the ignition without pushing the brake to actually start it
- Next, we’re gonna hold down the BRAKE and ACCELERATOR pedals for about 60 seconds or as long as it takes for us to see a service resetting message pop up on the 2018 models onward
- After that, you can release the pedals and start up the car to confirm that everything is done
For your info, this operation work for the first and second generations of the Range Rover Evoque (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 model years).
How often does a Range Rover Evoque need an oil change?
Changing your oil is an essential part of maintaining your Land Rover. The manufacturer recommends changing it every 10,000 to 16,000 miles. However, you can change it more often if your vehicle has high mileage. To ensure the best oil change for your car, contact a Land Rover-certified service center. They will be able to give you an estimate for the time it will take.
The recommended maintenance schedule for your Land Rover should include an oil change and filter replacements. The oil contains additives that prevent corrosion and pick up debris. The engine oil then carries these to the oil filter, which traps them. This reduces the amount of dirt that builds up in the engine.
You should consult the owner’s manual for the recommended oil change interval for your Land Rover. The manufacturer recommends changing the oil every 3,000 miles on older models, but the recommended interval for a new vehicle may vary. A new car may require a different oil type than an older model.
Car inspection
After your vehicle has reached the recommended oil change interval, you should thoroughly inspect the car to check for any fluid deposits or leaks. You should also check the fluid levels in your brake system and replace brake hoses if necessary. The oil change is part of your Land Rover’s overall maintenance schedule, but it’s also important to ensure your vehicle has enough fluid to prevent the engine from overheating.
Use Synthetic Oil
If you’re worried about the price of synthetic oil, consider the benefits. While this type is more expensive than standard oil, it will last longer and function better in high and low temperatures. Synthetic oil is an excellent choice for your Land Rover if it has a high-tech engine. You can also opt for synthetic blends if you’re on a budget. These oils are blends of organic and synthetic oils with higher temperature tolerances. These types of oils are best for pickup trucks and SUVs.
FAQ – Evoque Engine Oil
The engine oil capacity of a 2016 Range Rover Evoque is 5.9 liters for the diesel engine and 5.6 liters for the gasoline engine, which is essential information for maintaining the vehicle.
It’s essential to use the right oil for your vehicle’s engine, and there are specialized varieties for each. The 2015 Range Rover Evoque needs 5W-30 engine oil to meet Ford 913-B standards. Land Rover suggests using Castrol oil as well.
Regular oil changes for Range Rover Evoques cost between $59 and $75 in labor and $145 and $161 in parts. The price of labor can vary depending on factors like where you live, where you get your car serviced, and how the market is doing, while the cost of replacement components is dictated by factors like what you and your technician decide has to be replaced.
Alright, so I think that wraps this thing up. So that’s right about where it should be, and according to Land Rover, we’re good for about 16,000 miles. We’ll keep it on a level to make sure we’re good, and you should be good to go. So thanks for your time, and have a great day.
