Good morning and welcome back to my site. Today we’re working on the Audi TT again, and this needs service due light reset after an oil change.
It’s straightforward to do yourself and save yourself a few quid not to take it to the dealer. I’m excited to show you guys how to do this, so let’s get started.

It’s worth noting that the method you use will be determined by the year and type of your car (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014).

Time needed: 3 minutes
This section will show you how to reset the service light on Audi TT MK1. Looking at the instrument cluster, the two buttons we care about today are the CLOCK button on the left and the TRIP button on the right. So let’s get it going.
- Hold down the TRIP button while the ignition off
To reset the service message we need to have the ignition off and hold down the TRIP button
- Turn on the ignition
Now we need to turn on the ignition with the button held down and you should now see the word SERVICE appear on the LCD screen
- Press and hold the CLOCK button
Then with the word service illuminated on-screen release the TRIP button and press and hold the CLOCK button instead and keep holding the button until the service interval appears and then disappears
- Start the car
Once it does, release the button and turn the ignition off. To test the message is cleared simply turn the ignition back on and you should no longer see the service warning light
2007-2014 Audi TT (MK2)
Alright, we’ve got a 2011 Audi TT and there it says service due, so now we’re going to reset the service light. Let’s see how we get this done.
- Start with the ignition on the second position without the engine on
- Then we pull out the RIGHT button and release it to get the Service interval screen
- After that, pull it out again within five seconds and if you hold it there it will reset
So that was the end of the post today. I hope you guys enjoyed this content. This is a quick, easy thing to do to maintain the car to make it run better, and you know all that. So I’ll see you guys later, and peace out.
