Last Updated on October 26, 2021 by Nick

What’s up, guys! Today we’re going to tackle the job of resetting the spanner or service light in the Citroen C4 Picasso. So it would be best if you did this every you change the engine oil.

By the way, Citroen advised the oil changes it every 12 and a half thousand miles all 12 months. Personally, we tend to do the oil change at 9,000 miles as we believe that frequent oil changes are one of the cheapest ways to extend engine life. So let me show you how you can do it yourself at home.

Time needed: 3 minutes

Alright, we have Citroen C4 Picasso here, and we will be doing the service light reset. So the first thing you’re going to have to do is:

  1. Turn off the ignition

Make sure your vehicle is stopped completely

  2. Press and hold the Spanner button

Then we’re also gonna be using the Spanner button here with the tree zeroes on the left or right-hand side of the dash. So what you need to do is you’re gonna have to press in and hold the Spanner button

  3. Turn on the ignition but don’t start the engine

Next, tap the START button without pressing the brake pedal, so you don’t want the car to start

  4. Continue to hold down the Spanner button

Keep holding the button and when that’s on then you get a count down on the dash. So when you get down to zero then that’s gonna be your service reset

So that’s all there is to reset the service light on your Citroen C4 Picasso (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 model years). If you have any questions or comments, post them in the comments below, and I’ll get back to you if I can. So thank you for reading, and I hope this helped other home mechanics out.
