To turning off the Service Warning Message on the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 Landrover Freelander 2 / LR2, conform to the following instructions:
Put the key fob into its slot.
Press and hold the TRIP reset button.
The display will light up, continue to press the TRIP reset button and press the “Start” button without touching the brake pedal.
Release both buttons when you see the word “SERVICE” flashing
Press and hold the TRIP reset button again when the word “SERVICE” stops flashing
You should now be able to cycle through DIST, DATE and END.
Choose DIST, then hold the TRIP reset button until you see the word RESET being displayed.
The word end will then appear, then the TRIP reset button should be pressed until the display shows the newly reset service intervals.
