Hi guys! Today I’ll show you how to do an oil maintenance light reset in a Lexus CT200h. First, you have to check if your oil has been changed at the proper time and your tires were rotated or anything else.
I know that you to do every 10,000 oil change. But the maintenance starts to be on every 5,000. So in my case, I have already just done the tire rotation, and I can turn off the light. So for this procedure, we need a key car, power button and I will show you how to do it.
How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Lexus CT200h (2011-2017)
Time needed: 3 minutes
This section will show my process to reset the oil maintenance light for a Lexus CT200h. You can apply this steps guide to the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 model years. This sequence works every time if I do it exactly this way. So here we go.
- Stop the vehicle and turn on the ignition
First, click on the POWER button twice to turn on your ignition without starting the engine
- Make sure you’re on the TRIP A screen
There is an ODO/TRIP button on the dash. So you need to press it to set it to the TRIP A
- Turn off the ignition
Next, push the POWER button once to turn it off
- Hold down the ODO/TRIP button
Now you need to push and hold the ODO/TRIP button down
- Turn on the ignition again
Then as you’re still holding it turn the ignition on again
- Continue to hold down the ODO/TRIP button
Keep holding it and wait until you see it’s flashing then when it’s all zeros it’s done
So that’s it, guys. I hope you enjoyed this content. I’m telling you if you can change the oil in this car, you can change the oil on any car. Leave me comments below the post if you have any questions. Anyway, thanks for your time, and I hope you learn something new.
