How To Reset Nissan Terra TPMS Tire Pressure Sensor Light (2018-2021)

Time needed: 7 minutes

Each time a tire pressure has been adjusted or change the tire, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS). Here is how to reset the TPMS on 2018 2019 2020 2021 Nissan Terra:

1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

   The Tire pressure reset process cannot be done while the vehicle is moving

2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

   The tire placard located on the door panel

3. Turn the ignition key to ON position without starting the engine

   If your car has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal

4. Hit the ❏ button until you see the SETTINGS menu

   The button is located on the steering wheel
   

5. Scroll to the TIRE PRESSURE menu by using the joystick

   Press the ENTER button to select it

6. Select TPMS RESET

   The Cancel and Start options will appear

7. Select START to execute the TPMS reset

   a TPMS resetting message will be displayed

8. Start and drive your car

   TPMS calibration process will complete after several minutes of driving between 16 mph (25 km/h)
