Last Updated on June 17, 2014 by Nick

The Yamaha EZ30 is an innovative learning keyboard with guide lights. The new EZ30 portable keyboard features a virtual, talking music tutor that is destined to launch many musical futures. Above each key, a light operates as a guide to tell you which note to play and when. Yamaha takes it a step further. The EZ includes an interactive technology that monitors your playing and grades your skills. The keyboard actually speaks to you in English, just as a teacher would. This tutor can also sing the notes as you play them, either using the letter name or singing in solfege (Do, Re, Mi). The voice of this singing tutor is the Grammy award winning singer Melissa Manchester.

According to several user reviews, they have praised a Yamaha EZ30 for the comes with the interactive technology; Compatible with MIDI and Yamaha’s XGlite; Very lightweight; Lighted keys show you which notes to play. Also, some users have complained it for no sustain pedal included; Keys are not weighted; Power adaptor may not be included; Some problems with bundled accessories.
