Nord C2D Dual Manual Combo Organ Factory Reset

The Clavia Nord C2D is digital keyboards aimed at emulating various vintage organs, which was released in 2012. It has the same form factor as the C2 model, but the biggest difference is that the C2D is adorned with a full set of real drawbars, laid out in the main as a Hammond B3 – so diehard organists will immediately feel at home. The C2D has four organ models – B3, Vox, Farfisa and pipe organ – and these can be toggled via the organ selection area. The C2D ditches the recognisable red livery in favour of a more muted black design, although you do still get the gorgeous deep-red wood endplates. It’s compact but still relatively heavy, and feels extremely well built.

According to several Nord C2D reviewers, some users have praised it for the improved key click, percussion and new 122 rotary speaker model; Four excellent organs, including, for some players, the best ‘virtual Hammond’ currently available; Superb chorus/vibrato, tremulant, and of course, rotary speaker effects; Lightweight, with B3-style ergonomics. Also, some users have complained it for the Modifying preset sounds is not as quick or simple as it could be; The rotary speaker ‘half-moon’ switch remains a chargeable extra; Wider-sounding reverbs and user sound upload would make this even better.
