2017-2020 Kia Cadenza Service Required Minder Light Reset – The second generation was presented at the New York International Auto Show in spring 2016. The design of the vehicle again comes from Peter Schreyer. In this generation, too, the car is sold in South Korea as the K7 and in other countries as the Cadenza.
In February 2020, Kia presented an extensively revised version of the Cadenza. In addition to four different versions with petrol engines, a diesel version, and an Otto hybrid are also available in South Korea. In contrast, only the most powerful gasoline engine is available in the United States.

If you exceed the specified service interval, the Service Required Light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Required Minder Light on your KIA Cadenza:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button twice without touching the brake pedal.
- Highlight the USER SETTINGS ⚙️ menu by pressing the ❏ button repeatedly
The button is located on the steering wheel
- Scroll to SERVICE INTERVAL
Press the OK button to select the menu
- Select RESET or ADJUST INTERVAL
On this menu, you can reset or set the time and distance for the next maintenance period
- Turn off the ignition and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
