2007-2013 Infiniti G35/G37 Oil Maintenance Light Reset Guide

Hey guys! How’s it going? Today, we will be doing an oil change on the Infiniti G35/G37 and resetting the maintenance light afterward. Fun fact there are two types of maintenance warning lights—one on the navigation system and one here on the dash screen system.
Now we’ll show you how to reset it on both screens. Keep in mind I’m having the car running, but you can do this when the car is turned off. I mean, turn on, but not the engine is running, or you can do it when the car is running. So for this one for the personal warning lights, you’re going to reset here on display. So let’s go ahead.

2007-2013 Infiniti G35/G37 Oil Maintenance Light Reset Guide
With Cluster Menu
Time needed: 3 minutes
Alright, we have a 2013 Infiniti G37. The first thing we’re going to do to reset the oil light is to use these buttons on the dash. So let’s get right into it.
- Grab your keys and turn the car on
You can actually start the engine or just turn on the ignition
- Go to the SETTINGS screen
Then we’re going to use this ❏ button first, and we’re going to scroll through the menu in the dash to go to the SETTINGS
- Scroll to the MAINTENANCE menu
Once we get there we’re going to use the ⚈ button to go down to MAINTENANCE we’re going to use the top button to select it
- Get to the Engine OIL
Now we’re going to go down to the ENGINE OIL and select it with the ❏ button
- You can choose RESET or set the distance for the interval
From there we can go down with the ⚈ button to RESET or SETTINGS to set the interval. If we go to SETTINGS, we can use the ⚈ button to go ahead and put our selected miles in and use the ❏ button to confirm
Now we’re going to come over to the navigation system which is essential to do the same thing here. So here’s what we’re gonna do:
- Get in the car and turn it on
- Next, we’re going to hit the INFO button
- Then we’re going to go to MAINTENANCE, so we’re going to use the selector to go down to Maintenance and hit Enter
- Next, we’re going to hit ENTER again on the ENGINE OIL
- Now we’re going to go ahead and reset it. So we’ll click down to RESET DISTANCE and press ENTER to confirm
So that’s how you reset both screens on an Infiniti G35/G37 (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 model years). You can click the back button, and you do that for your Oil Filter or your Tire rotation. Thank you so much for coming along on my site, and have a wonderful day.
