How To Reset Smart Roadster Service Minder Light Indicator (2003-2005) – The Smart Roadster is a small two-door sports coupe made by the Smart brand. The car was introduced in 2003, but sales of both the Roadster and the Roadster Coupe were disappointing. Therefore, production after 43,901 copies was stopped in November 2005. The latest Smart Roadster is now available at the Mercedes-Benz Museum.
The Smart Roadster was manufactured at the Smart Factory in Hambach, France, where the Smart ForTwo is also made. The Smart Roadster and Roadster Coupé had a 61 or 81 hp strong 0.7L 3-cylinder turbo engine. For both models, there was the possibility of installing a gearbox with a switching system that was as in Formula 1. Both the Roadster and Roadster Coupé were also available in Brabus version, with a power of 101pk and various adjustments to improve driving behavior. The interior was also adapted with aluminum parts.
How To Reset Smart Roadster Service Minder Light Indicator (2003-2005)

When engine oil service is due, Service Minder Light will appear on the display. The oil service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Light on your Smart Roadster:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
Don’t start the engine!
- There are two buttons in the back of instrument cluster, press LEFT one repeatedly until you see the SERVICE interval
Make sure you are in the SERVICE interval menu
- Turn OFF the ignition
Turn off ignition immediately when you are on the trip menu
- Press and hold the LEFT button and then turn the ignition switch to the ON position again
Don’t start the engine!
- Continue to hold down the button until the new service interval appears on the display.
