How To Reset The Digitech iPB-10 To Restoring The Factory Settings

The Digitech has introduced the iPB-10, a hardware multi-FX pedal that’s has a dock to hold it firmly in place as an integral part of the system for onstage, home or studio use. It also has controlled by an iPad. With its ultra-smooth touchscreen operation Apple’s iPad makes a pretty good control surface. It enables you to drag onscreen icons around more quickly and easily than you can with the mouse-driven computer-based editing software available for certain hardware multi-FX units.

According to several user reviews, the Digitech iPB-10 has some advantage of the features such as Easy editing; rugged build quality; great set of sounds; the footswitching flexibility. But it’s an expensive package when you take the iPad cost into account; effects in presets are limited by category.

Factory Reset:

There are two ways To Restoring The Factory Settings of iPB-10, which iPad Connected or iPad Disconnected. Let’s see the procedure.

iPad Connected:
Power on while simultaneously holding down the Footswitch A until the display appear “Fr” and then release. Next, hold Footswitch A again until the display appear ‘r5’, then release.

iPad Disconnected:
Power on while simultaneously holding down the Footswitch A until the display appear “Fr” and then release. Hold Footswitch A again until the display appear ‘r5’, then release. And then rock the Expression Pedal completely forward (toe down) then press Footswitch 5, while ‘td’ appear in the display. Next, Rock the Expression Pedal completely back (toe up) and press Footswitch 5, when ‘td’ appears in the display. A numeric value will now appear in the LED display indicating the Expression Pedal V-Switch sensitivity. Press firmly on the Expression Pedal Toe. Use the Bank Up and Bank Down Footswitches to fine tune the V-Switch sensitivity. Finally, press Footswitch 5.
