How To Reset Service Minder Light on Audi A4 S4 (2001-2008) – The Audi A4 is a middle-class car from the German car manufacturer Audi. The Audi A4 was presented at the end of 1994 as the successor to the successful Audi 80 B4. The A4 has the BMW 3-series and Mercedes C-Class as main competitors.
In 2001, the Audi A4 B6 (internal factory code Type 8E / 8H) was introduced. The style was inspired by that of the Audi A6 C5 but also the Avant was clearly an evolution of the B5. In 2002 the A4 Cabriolet was introduced as a replacement for the Audi Cabriolet that was produced until 2000 on the basis of the Audi 80 B4. The Quattro all-wheel-drive remained the same as its predecessor. New for the A4 was the Multitronic transmission that debuted in the A6.
How To Reset Service Minder Light on Audi A4 S4 (2001-2008)
Time needed: 7 minutes
When your vehicle has reached an inspection or oil change interval, the Service minder light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Light on your Audi A4 S4:
- Make sure the vehicle is completely stopped
Turn OFF the ignition
- Press and hold the [wp-svg-icons icon=”wrench” wrap=”i”] button
The button is located on the cluster
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position
Do not start the engine!
- Release the [wp-svg-icons icon=”wrench” wrap=”i”] button when a message appears on the display
Service message will appear on the display
- Next, Press and hold the 0.0 button until SERVICE disappears on the display
