Panasonic has prepared two new cameras from the ranks of the FT-series with the Panasonic DMC-FT5 and the Panasonic DMC-FT25. Although both tough and has a body design that appeared stiff as Panasonic FT-another series, both cameras look pretty much the difference. Firstly in terms of dimensions. Panasonic DMC-FT5 comes with a larger dimension with screen size 3-inch LCD, while the Panasonic DMC-FT25 includes LCD screens are smaller at 2.7-inches.

The sensor used is also different. If FT5 uses a CMOS sensor, the FT25 use CCD sensors, each of which can produce images with a resolution of 16 megapixels. For video recording capabilities, the Panasonic DMC-FT5 is superior because it is capable of recording Full HD 1080p quality video. For Panasonic DMC-FT25, the highest resolution is only 720p HD video. Another difference visible in the lens. For Panasonic DMC-FT5 equipped with a 28mm Leica lens with 4.6x optical zoom capability and the Panasonic DMC-FT25 comes with a 25mm wide-angle lens that is capable of 4x optical zoom.

In terms of toughness, both are also different. Panasonic DMC-FT5 designed more resilient with the ability to dive to 11 meters, shock-resistant from a height of about 2 meters, anti-freeze to a temperature of -10° Celsius and able to withstand heavy load of about 100 kg. For Panasonic DMC FT-5 you can just take him into the water to a depth of 7 meters, resilient from a height of about 1.5 meters, and anti-freeze until temperatures below -10° Celsius.

That makes this camera more interesting is the presence of Wi-Fi and NFC.
