How To Reset Oil Maintenance Service Light On Volvo S60 (2014-2022)

Hey, how are you all doing? Well, I have the Volvo S60, and now I’m just going to show you how to reset the maintenance service light after do the oil changing in this vehicle.
I want to be clear that this service light is not the check engine light which means there’s something wrong with your car. The service light just reminds you to change your oil. So it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s anything wrong. So please pay attention, I’m saying, and stay tuned.

How To Reset Oil Maintenance Service Light On Volvo S60 (2014-2022)
For your info, this operation work for the second and third generations of the Volvo S60 (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 model years).
2014-2018 Volvo S60
Time needed: 3 minutes
This is a Volvo S60 2014 model, and I’m going to show you how to reset the service light in this section. So now all you need to do is:
- Get in the car and turn it on
Make sure you close all the doors then start the car
- Make sure the odometer is set to T2
Then you need this to say T2. If it doesn’t say T2, use the thumbwheel or rotary right here just turn it to get the T2
- Turn off the car
Next, we take the key out to make ignition off
- Turn the ignition key to the position I
Put the key in and push the START button one time to get into position 1
- Hold down the OK button
Once it does, you need to hold down the OK button on the end of the left lever
- Next, turn the ignition key to the position II
As you hold the OK button you need to press and hold the START button without step on the brake
- Keep holding the buttons
Keep holding that down and you’re gonna see the i light start to flash
- Release it
Now as it flashes you can let go and hear that ding so that it’s done
2019-2022 Volvo S60
- First, we’re going to turn the START knob over once and not start the car with my foot is off the brake
- Once we’re in an accessory mode we’re going to press and hold down the decreasing Cruise Control (-) button
- As you hold that we’re going to start the car up. So step on the brake and turn the START knob
- Keep holding the button and you’ll waiting for the i symbol to pop up on the dash
- As soon as it does you’re going to let go and it’ll resets the maintenance reminder
