If the engine oil life is less than 5%, the Oil Change Required Light will appear on the display. The engine oil life interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Change Engine Oil minder light on your Lincoln Navigator:
- Turn the ignition to run, one position before starting the engine.

- Press the SETUP button briefly to cycle to “OIL LIFE XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW”
The button is located on the center console
- If you’re on that screen, press and hold the RESET button until “OIL LIFE SET TO 100%” is displayed.

- Turn key off and then start your car and it should be reset.
