How To Reset Mercury Mountaineer Oil Life Oil Change Light (2002-2010) – The Mercury Mountaineer is a medium-sized vehicle all the way. The production of this vehicle began in 1997 at the plant in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a model that, technically, is the same as the Ford Explorer with slightly different exterior design details and higher-finish levels, placing it in a segment that is superior to that of Explorer.

In 2002 the Mercury Mountaineer received a restyling as well as the Ford Explorer. It offers better quality finishes and more options, such as wooden finishes, rear seats with a DVD player and TV or headphone jack. The design of the headlights and the grill represents the emblem “waterfall” that will be the emblem of Mercury in the future. Mechanically the 5.0L disappears and they offer a 4.0L Cologne V6 of 210 CVS and a 4.6L Modular V8 of 239 CVS.
