How To Reset Audi A5 Oil Change Light Service Minder (2008-2017) – The Audi A5 is a middle class of the German car manufacturer Audi. The A5 was presented in 2007 on the basis of the fourth-generation Audi A4. The A5 has as main competitors the BMW 4-series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé and Cabriolet. When engine oil service is due, the Oil Change warning light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Change Light on your Audi A5:
- Turn ignition switch to ON position but do not start the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the CAR button on the MMI controls to access the vehicle menu
The button is located on the center console
- On some vehicle, you need to enter the “CAR SYSTEMS” menu then select “SERVICE & CHECKS”
You can skip this step if there is no menu in your vehicle
- Scroll down and select “SERVICE INTERVAL”
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- Scroll down and select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- When a message appears on the display, select YES to confirm
