Here’s How You Reset Service Light On Nissan Navara D23 (2015-2022)

Good morning trucker! It’s a beautiful day here on the coast of Bali, Indonesia. Today, we will do a service light reset decent Nissan Navara D23 twin-turbo.

So for today’s post, I just finished up a 30k maintenance service on this lovely 2017 Nissan Navara and thus announced time to reset the service required light. So now I’m going to show you how to do that.

Here’s How You Reset Service Light On Nissan Navara D23

For your info, there are two different ways to reset it and this guide will be valid for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 model years.

2015-2020 Navara

Time needed: 3 minutes

If you want to reset the service reminder or the oil reminder on this Navara D23, you’re going to be using the buttons on your steering wheel. So let me show you what it’s doing.

  1. Turn on the ignition

    If your car has a Smart key button, press the START button two times without stepping on the brake pedal

  2. Go to the SETTINGS

    So with the ignition on what you want to do is go to the steering wheel at this ❏ button here you will press that to flick through the options till you get to the SETTINGS

  3. Scroll down to MAINTENANCE

    Then use the rocker button to scroll down go to MAINTENANCE and then push in Enter

  4. Get into OIL CONTROL SYSTEM or SERVICE

    From there, they have a lot of stuff you can reset here so here we’re into OIL CONTROL SYSTEM or SERVICE

  5. Press the ENTER button

    Once you get there, we just hold down the ENTER button for about two seconds to get the reset option 

  6. Select YES

    Reset will come up,  you just go up to YES and hit enter to confirm

2021-2022 Navara

  • Get in the car and turn it on
  • Then go ahead and press the right one you go through the menu and you’re looking for SETTINGS
  • In the settings menu, you go down to MAINTENANCE and press the enter button down in
  • From there you have a lot of maintenance reminders but we just change the oil in this so we’re gonna go to the OIL & FILTER
  • At this point, you can change the interval and reset it
  • If you select RESET it’ll ask if you want to reset? I’m gonna say yes and it’s reset
