How To Reset Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Service Minder (2020-2021) – The Mercedes-Benz X253 is the second generation of the GLK Class, which, taking advantage of the new generation and like several other models of the brand, changed its name, going to call the GLC Class in honor of its reference tourism, the Mercedes- Benz C-Class.

It is based on the fourth generation of the C-Class, the W205 adopting its engines, and unlike the previous generation, it does have AMG variants, both V6 (43 AMG) and V8 (63 and 63 S AMG). This generation has two different bodies.

How To Reset Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Service Minder (2020-2021)

Time needed: 7 minutes

When maintenance service is due, the Service due minder will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Minder light on your Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class:

  1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button twice without touching the brake pedal.

  2. Go to TRIP menu by swipe the Left Touch Control

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  3. Make sure the TRIP and TOTAL DISTANCE millage are displayed in the multi-function display.

    Scroll down by using the Left Touch Control to display the menu

  4. Press and hold the BACK/ HOME button for a second

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  5. While holding the BACK/ HOME button press and hold the Left Touch Control button

    Remember! Don’t press the buttons simultaneously, the timing is very decisive at this step!

  6. After several seconds the VEHICLE DATA menu should come up

    If you do it right, the VEHICLE DATA menu will appear on the screen

  7. Scroll down to ASSYST PLUS menu

    Press the Left Touch Control button to enter the menu

  8. Scroll down to FULL SERVICE

    Press the Left Touch Control button to enter the menu

  9. Select CONFIRM SERVICE

    Press the Left Touch Control button to select

  10. When a confirmation message appears, select YES to confirm it

    Done!
