How To Reset Volvo S40 Maintenance Minder Service Light (2005-2012) – The Volvo S40 and the estate-equivalent Volvo V40 are Volvo car models, which were introduced in 1995, produced at NedCar in Born. There they were built on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Carisma. Parts that were shared included parts of the chassis, gearboxes, engines and electronic components.

The second generation came on the market in 2004, shared the Ford C1 platform with the Ford Focus and was produced by Volvo cars Gent. The C1 platform is marked internally at Volvo as P1. Remarkably, the S40 was again presented in Frankfurt and the V50 a few months later in Bologna, just like the S / V40 nine years before. Besides the break variant V50, this range consists of a 3-door hatchback C30 and a coupe-convertible C70.
