How To Reset Lexus LFA Oil Maintenance Required Minder Light – The Lexus LFA is a high-performance sports car produced by the Japanese automaker Lexus from 2010 to 2012. It is the second model of the line F vehicle brand high-performance Lexus IS F. Between 2005 and 2008 3 car prototypes were presented. After starting the development in the 2000s (codenamed P280), the first LF-A prototype was released in 2005, it followed in 2007 for a second LF-A with an interior and exterior more fully furnished. 

In 2010 it was presented a special version of the LFA produced in only 50 copies that are part of the 500 total planned for the LFA and are characterized by a number of technical solutions designed to enhance the pleasure of the Japanese supercar driving, even in the use in the track. The 4.8-liter V10 has been revised only marginally, in the exhaust system, to deliver 10 hp more, most of the changes have been applied to the structure and aerodynamics, now equipped with fixed appendages of larger fiber sizes carbon. 

How To Reset Lexus LFA Oil Maintenance Required Minder Light

Time needed: 7 minutes

When engine oil needs to replace, maintenance required light will appear on the display. The maintenance warning must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Maintenance Required Light on your Lexus LFA:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to the ON position

    Do not start the engine!

  2. Go to the STATUS menu by using the navigation control pad

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  3. Scroll down to the OIL MAINTENANCE menu

    Press the RIGHT navigation button to enter the menu

  4. Press and hold the RIGHT navigation button until Complete appears on the display

    Done!
