How To Reset Citroën C4 Service Minder Spanner Light (2011-2018) – The Citroën C4 is a European compact mid-range car of the Citroën brand. It is the successor to the Citroën Xsara. The C4 was presented in the fall of 2004. There are three and 5-door versions available, with the body of these versions differing significantly from the rear, in particular.

At the end of 2010, a completely new version of the C4 came on the market that had to replace the old one. For the time being, the new C4 will only be available as the 5-door and not as a 3-door like its predecessor. With a length of 4.33 meters, a height of 1.49 meters and a width of 1.79 meters, it is larger than its predecessor.

How To Reset Citroën C4 Service Minder Spanner Light (2011-2018)

Time needed: 7 minutes

When the next service is due, the Service minder or Spanner light will appear on the display. The service indicator must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Minder light on your Citroën C4:

  1. Turn the ignition to “S” position for the steering lock

    Make sure your vehicle is stopped completely

  2. Press and hold the [wp-svg-icons icon=”wrench” wrap=”I”] 000 button

    The button is located on the instrument cluster

  3. Turn ON the ignition but don’t start the engine; the distance recorder display begins a countdown

    Countdown from 10 will appears on the display

  4. Continue to hold down the button until “0” MILES appears on the display and the maintenance light turns off

    Release the button when the display indicates “=0”

  5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset

    Done!
