Alright, I’ve just changed the oil in my 2017 Chevy Impala, and I want to reset that change oil light. So let’s go ahead and get started.
- First, insert the key and put the ignition on
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press and holds the Start/Stop button for 5 seconds without stepping on any pedal
- Go to the main menu
Then press the ◄ left arrow to bring out the main menu
- Select the INFO page
Next, highlight the INFO and press the ✓ button to enter the menu
- Find the OIL LIFE
After that, you go roll down until you find how much oil life you have left
- Hold the ✓ button
To reset it, you must press and hold the ✓ button until the oil life changes to 100%. But if a message appears on display, select YES to confirm
