2012–2018 Ford Focus (MK3) Wiper Fuse Location

In the Ford Focus MK3, there are two fuses and one relay involved in the front and rear wiper systems. All of them are located inside the engine bay fuse box.

Wiper Relay

This little guy controls the wiper operation. It kicks on when you turn your key to the “ON” position.
👉 Tip: If your wipers aren’t working, try tapping the relay lightly. Still not working? Swap it with another known good relay, like the reverse light relay.

Front Wiper Motor Fuse (F18)

Location: Fuse slot F18
Type: 20-amp J-case fuse
Purpose: Provides power directly to the front wiper motor.

Rear Wiper Motor Fuse

Type: 15-amp mini fuse
Purpose: Powers the rear window wiper motor.

👉 Tip: You can easily pop the fuse out for inspection, or peek through the side to check if it’s blown. If needed, gently wiggle and pull it out.

2019–2021 Ford Focus (MK4) Wiper Fuse Location

For the Ford Focus MK4, the setup is a little different but still easy to find.

Front Wiper Fuse (Slot 75)

Type: 20-amp M-case fuse
Purpose: Controls the front windshield wipers.

Rear Wiper Fuse (Slot 73)

Type: 20-amp yellow Micro2 fuse
Purpose: Controls the rear window wipers.

👉 Pro Tip: To check if a fuse is blown, inspect the thin metal strip inside — if it’s broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. Always replace it with the same type and amperage! Using the wrong fuse can lead to electrical problems.
