Executing the All Initialize Function in Zoom MS-100BT MultiStomp

Zoom unveils another stompbox sized multi-effects pedal, the MS-100BT. This time around, Zoom has not only crammed almost twice the number of effects into the same chassis, but also added the facility to add even more amp and effects models via an iOS device. It’s greatly expands on the downloadable effects idea by using a wireless connection to your iOS mobile devices via standard Bluetooth technology. Behind the MS-100BT’s user-friendly interface are 100 classic stompbox effects and amp models. You can deploy up to six effects simultaneously, and store up to 50. The unit is made out of solid anodised aluminium, so it quite durable. The knobs are plastic, but the buttons and footswitch is metal, so overall I think that the unit is built quite well.

According to several user reviews of Zoom MS-100BT MultiStomp, some users have praised it for the Compact size; growing online library of models; Upgradeable; A complete multi-effects unit with a tiny footprint that can work in a larger pedalboard or as a standalone device. But some users also have complained for the no Android support; power adaptor not supplied; No ability to control parameters, navigate menus, and store effect chains from the touchscreen mobile device.

Factory Reset:

To restoring the factory settings of Zoom MS-100BT MultiStomp, first power on while simultaneously press and holding the Parameter 1 (left) knob. When the display appears “All INITIALIZE”, press the FOOTSWITCH to start initialization of the program. The Factory Reset procedure is complete.

Warning! When you execute “All Initialize” the settings you made will be lost, but does not delete effects that have been added to the pedal. Be sure you want to erase the memory and return the Zoom MS-100BT to its factory default state before continuing with this procedure. Hopefully the article of “Executing the All Initialize Function in Zoom MS-100BT MultiStomp” was useful.
