Tap the ? CONTROL menu
The control menu is represented by a CAR icon and located in the lower-left corner of the touchscreen
Go to SAFETY & SECURITY
The menus are in the left hand column
Scroll down and then enable the PIN to Drive
The next window will prompts you to create a driving PIN
Enter the four-digits pin and then tap enable
Done!

Next time when you enter the vehicle and try to put it into drive or reverse it will prompt you for the pin. Enter the PIN and hit allow and then you can use the lever to proceed to drive.

How To Change Your Tesla Pin To Drive?

In the event that you want to reset your PIN or forgot it, you can go back to the settings and tap on Enter Your Tesla Account Credentials. You will be prompted for your username and password and proceed with changing your PIN.

Today we went to the grocery store. When I came out to put a package in the Tesla 3 there was a notice on my phone that I had 30 seconds left on the remote start but after than I could push the button again. Curious. We knew nothing about the remote start or how it got started. We now have activated pin starting. Cheers,
