The Dean Dime USA Razorback V guitar’s comes with a classic Razorback V body, as it was introduced several years ago. It’s made of mahogany, with a set-in neck and ebony fingerboard that sports custom “Razor” and “V” inlays. The body and neck joint seems very secure. Body of this menacing V has beveled edges and super easy access to upper frets. The V neck shape is comfortable and plays fast, 16″ radius is slick and fast as hell, bends or chords. V inlays with Dime’s razorblade at the twelfth fret plus all black hardware make this guitar wickedly stunning. Can’t complain about the finish. It looks great! Which black is the base color and it can be ordered with four different bevel colors: Green, Red, Yellow and Silver.
This guitar’s armored by Seymour Duncan SH13 Dimebucker at the bridge position and Dean DimeTime humbuckers on neck position. 3-way selector and volume/tone knobs for the pickups. Both pickups are active and sound amazing!
Seymour Duncan SH13 Dimebucker is Dimebag Darell signature pickup. It’s uses a powerful ceramic magnet coupled with stainless steel blades. This pickup make ultra high output bridge-position blade humbucker built for aggressive playing styles, more bite and sounds really sick with distortion. And for the Dean DimeTime humbuckers has a nice strong bass without sacrificing tone. Sounds great in the clean setting.
All hardware is black and looks good. Bridge on this one is a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. It worked out great, the guitar still stay in tune even through extremely large motions/pitch changes. It’s also got grover tuners. The grover machine heads are nice but sometimes they wouldn’t turn so I had to tighten them.
