TC Electronic are renowned for producing some of the best-sounding digital audio processors in the business. Built upon the legacy and knowledge of TC Electronic’s legendary reverb processors the release of the NR-1 Nova Reverb raises the bar for guitar effect pedals and redefines what it means to be “state-of-the-art”. The NR-1 Nova Reverb lets you choose five different reverb types. Two sturdy footswitches let you choose between presets or select a manual setting, five knobs shape and mix the reverb to your taste, plus you get buttons to select reverb type. The pedal has stereo (two) 1/4″ connections for inputs and outputs. It has a power supply jack as well, and I believe the power supply comes with it, although I’m not 100% sure on this. It’s not a rack mountable piece of gear as it’s a foot pedal.
According to several NR-1 Nova Reverb reviewers, some users have praised it for the sounds are extremely clean sounding; very versatile pedal; a plate setting. Also, some users have complained it for a large amount of noise when set up and running it into dual rectifier with the gain up.
Press, hold and release the ROOM button, so that 5 LEDs in second row from the bottom will lit. Then you should play with the loudest sound (the sound with the highest dynamic content) you use for a few seconds and watch some of the 5 LEDs turn off one by one. Finally, press any key to exit. The calibrate the input level procedure is complete.
Note: You should turn on boosters etc. that are placed prior to your Nova pedal in the signal chain. Hopefully the article of “Calibrate the Input Level a NR-1 Nova Reverb” was useful.
